Question #1:
What steps should I take in order to be happy again ?
I'm a 17 year old female and depressed. First of all I will be a senior in the fall, but my dad kicked me out {staying in GA}, and now I have to stay with my mom {in Maryland}. So I will have to meet a whole other set of kids. I'm shy, kinda awkward & had a bad experience through out my whole past, but I never told anyone outside of school. I was picked on about every little detail on my body including my personality, the way i talked & walked. People have called me slow now I think I'm slow, because I'm clumsy, have bad anxiety, and tend to say stupid comments. Whats worse is when ever I'm in a car {i feel lost}, I'm scared I wont learn how to drive because my driving or location memory is awful. I'm also dealing with my religion, I know God is real but deep down I question myself & I start to feel bad. I'm lonely because I have not met any new friends & everyone around me is making money & making moves. what keeps me going is my gpa which is a 3.7, and I'm pretty and small {model type}, but that doesn't kill the pain I feel. I have had bad experiences with boys {been pressured}, I feel like nobody loves me or understands me. I sometimes cant speak that well because I'm not as articulate so that really causes people to insult my intelligence even more. I cry every night, and I'm crying right now because it hurts and my mom can tell something is wrong, but i don't know how to express myself, Please help me out, I would greatly appreciate it !!! s.n . Pray For Me ;){1234}, I never said all models has to be small, but thats one thing I like because I get compliments and lets be real everyone loves compliments right??? Im just saying people say I look like a model because im super duper tall, Im not flattering myself thats just something I like about myself for once !!
{Sally}, Thankyou Thankyou & Thankyou, I dont know exactally what made me feel hopeful as I was reading what you wrote but Thanks for caring!! I needed that, I feel understand...God Bless You !!! you're an angel :)

10 easy points: Celebrities matches for my story? Best if lower key celebs but still famous?
I'm writing a drama teen story, and would like celebs to match each main character. Thanks so much! =)Adrianna- 16
Big doe eyes, brow hair, shy, nerdy. Pretty under those big frame glasses.
Claire- 16
Cute blonde. Sweet, fun, bubbly. Naturally pretty, not the caked-with-makeup pretty. Big, pretty eyes. Not the gossipy, backstabber kind of girl. Down to earth.
Kenji- 17
Black or dark brown hair, a little long (neck length) the kind of guy that's in the Auto-shop fixing cars. Slightly muscular, and sweet and even a little shy behind the oil-stanked shirt (I admit, I got that character from the iPhone/ iTouch app Surviving High School game character, lol)
Cody- 16
Every girl's dream boy. Handsome, dreamy eyes. Tall, slightly muscular, slightly tanned. Hair color is on the light side, like blonde or light brown. A melting smile with perfect teeth. Jock and sufer boy kind of guy. (Zac Efron is ok, but best if someone else....too much of him, lol. Doesn't give me the sparks anymore.)
Hart- 16
Not as amazing as Cody, but nerdy-cute. A little shy. Any hair color, but best if not blonde. Not extremely muscular, but ok body type. Just not chubby, lol. Cute dimple smile.
Taylor- 17
Blonde, pretty, sexy. Curvy and skinny body type. Boobs should be about a larger B or small C, but I don't want Kim Kardashian boobs, lol. Very hot. Perfectly tanned. Bikini model kind of girl. Very popular and a cheerleader. Does cake on makeup at times. Kinda gossipy and teasy.
Thank you so much guys! =)
Question #6:
Advice needed re: baby shower?
I am pregnant and due in about 11 weeks.I have bought most of what I need for the baby so far and barring my partners parents who said that they wanted to buy us a travel system, I haven't asked anyone for anything. About a month ago, two of my oldest friends invited me around for a surprise baby shower type thong where they had both bought some clothes for the baby.
I felt so incredibly awkward and uncomfortable I had no idea what to say. I stammered thanks about a hundred times and didn't really know what to say.
I have just found out that one of my friends (from a completely different social circle to the one above) is thinking about arranging a baby shower party type thing in a couple of weeks.
I feel so uncomfortable about this idea, in fact I hate it. Is it something that is expected for new mothers? I don't like the idea of people buying me things. I don't want to sound ungrateful but I don't know what to do and can't help how I feel.
(I probably do sound ungrateful but really don't mean it like that, I feel bad that I'm putting people out.)
I wad reading about some baby showers and people organise them and register for gifts even getting offended if people don't turn up with cots and car seats. Is this normal?
What should I do?
I'd never heard of baby showers before a couple of months ago.
I live in London.

Question #10:
Am I a bad friend for not giving my rotund friend a lift?
Ok I have this buddy who hovers around 300 lb. (and looks every ounce of it too). Today since it is summer and for the fact I have a car and he doesn't he offered to pay me money to bring him to the beach. I put him off since I have a nice car (Its a Cadillac) and I am about to sell it soon, and want to keep his 300 lb. persistant gorilla-sweat out of it. I hate having this guy in my car, I swear with his increased weight he could screw up my front alignment and wear out my front suspension. With this guy in the car my stopping distance increases, a LOT. I am not caving in and giving my rotund friend a lift to the beach, but does this make me a bad friend? There are buses out there to this beach he could get there whenever he felt like.I can't risk his funk stanking up the leather seats, that could affect the resale value of this car, and nobody wants a car with bad suspension and crooked aligment, which I could easily see happen if you put the average weight of two people in just one seat's worth of space.
He does offer me money for a lift here or there in my car, but even with being paid, it still means a sweaty 300 lb. fat guy goes in my car.
I warn him all the time to be more active, perhaps not eat so frequently, and in smaller amounts when he does eat until I am blue in the face, in about 3 years of saying this my pal has maybe consistently burnt off 20 lbs. at any given time.
Rebel that's easy for you to say, I bet not a single one of your friends weighs an ounce over 130 lbs.
Question #11:
what do u think is a good first car?
like for a new driver.. and what was ur first car?Question #12:
Do you agree with hazing rookies in the NFL?
Do you agree with hazing rookies in the NFL?No -- And anyone who disagrees is getting taped to that goalpost
Maybe -- I was traumitized in junior high football when the older players shoved a broomstick up me; although, admittedly, to this day it still gives me great posture
Yes -- carrying bags teaches a rookie his place on the team, especially when he's carrying the bags to the veteran's car because the vet has been cut to clear a roster spot for younger players
Question #13:
What would you do if you saw a baby forgotten in someones car?
Question #14:
Why are people opposed to universal health care in the US?
Here in Canada my mom had surgery; she was entitled to a nice semi-private room (1 other person there) and had attention from various nurses and doctors throughout the day. I was very pleased with the service. We only had to pay a deductible of less than $100. I know if I get sick here I don't have to worry about not being covered. In the US the insurance companies try to find excuses to deny people coverage. Then the people end up bankrupt having to sell their houses and cars.
So why are people so afraid of this system?
Propaganda? haha I swear on my mother's life that what I wrote to you was true.
The money comes from tax payers. I have in fact never been hospitalized, well at least not since my birth. I don't mind if my tax money goes to paying for other people. If we all chip in your fathers heart attack bills means pennies per person.
We all need to look after each other instead of competing and being self-interested.
Sorry but many of your points are invalid. Higher taxes? 12% tax in exchange for not having to sell my house? I think I'll take the 12%.
I can get sick any time and not worry about the cost.
Is the government forcing me to exercise? Hmm, nope they simply encourage using public transportation, which I don't mind when I go downtown Vancouver because it's so crowded.
People you have been lied to, our health care isn't the best in the world, but we don't have to sell our homes to get a doctor to treat us.
We are all individuals here? This is the same type of thinking that leads us to live selfishly and focus on the short-term instead of looking at the long-term consequences of our actions.
Collectivists go to Cuba or N. Korea? I'm happy here in Canada. I enjoy a high standard of living.
I do keep on current events. The current event is that my mom had surgery and we didn't lose the house. What do you propose, privatized health care?
But then insurance companies will look for ways to deny you coverage. I can't wait until you find yourself in this situation and then wish you could live in Canada.
Hank, there are still private hospitals you can visit in Vancouver, Canada. You can be treated there but for everyone else they can use public. You can have both systems.
Question #15:
1994 Honda Accord cv joint?
When turning left, I can hear clicks from front wheels (one side or both I'm not sure). The slower I go, the louder the clicks are and when I start driving, it's worse and gradually gets better. After a quick research, I thought it might be one of the cv joints. How can I check? How can I replace it? What parts do I need?I worked in a mechanic shop for a few months and I do repair my car sometimes, so I guess I can handle a little bit of mechanic work ;)
Question #16:
Looking for hispanic movie title 1990s/2000s?
I saw a film in spanish a few years ago that depicted the lives of several hispanic people who tried starting a new life in New York City (I believe). There was a poor puppeteer man who had a young daughter that couldn't go to school because their permanent address was inside his car. There is also a young man who falls in love with another woman from his country (perhaps Colombia?) and when he goes to buy bread for breakfast, he tries finding the apartment that this girl lives in but gets lost in the jungle of project housing and eventually loses her for good. I am trying to compile a list of movie titles and I remember this one being extremely well done, but I just can't remember the title. Do you know what I'm talking about? For those confused souls out there:
the term "hispanic" refers to anything coming from countries with Spanish culture/influence (those colonized by the Spanish Empire), i.e. Latin America (minus Brazil, because they were colonized by the Portuguese), some Central, and even North America. So, "hispanic" means Spanish, as well as Latin American etc... movie. Think of it as an umbrella term, which includes everything that contains or pertains to the Spanish language and culture.
I expect specific answers to specific questions.
Thank you for your concern, I'm well aware of what I meant.
Question #17:
What did this mean these guys?
Hello. these guys drived past me and had there windows opened and one of the guys said beep beep..and then I think he beeped after unless it was someone elses car so what did it mean?Question #18:
Is "golly" considered a childish word?
I know of a couple of adult men who say phrases like "Golly, I forgot my car keys", or "Golly, it's late" and this just sounds so Leave to Beaver like. Am I in the wrong to think "golly" "gee whiz" or "jinkies" and such are sort of child-like words for adult men to say? On the other hand, I guess it's better than hearing adults blaspheme God's name, or cuss a blue streak, but it just sounds so odd to hear adult men who look so normal-minded to say "Golly, ma'am, I guess I should have had my check book ready". I really do know other-wise normal men who use these kiddie-phrases.Question #19:
Do you think it's OK to decorate a wedding car by chaining a bunch of oil drums to the rear bumper?
Question #20:
