its easy to draw little pictures of people, you start off with a U shape for the face, then draw a line of some sort for the hairline, add the hair, after you put 2 dashes and half bubbles with dots inside for the eyes, then a small kinda lightning or N shape for the nose and a little line for the eyes

Scribble a few lines instinctively and uncontrollably on the page wherever your hand feels like going then stop suddenly. Then look at what you have done and see what animal/person/object you can turn it into by drawing on it some more, but this time with more control and structured lines. I've produced some funny looking things doing this and it's fun.
