Question: vancouver, bc or disneyland?

Answer #1:

Disneyland and Vancouver seem very different to me.

Vancouver is a large culturally-diverse Canadian city, in a spectacular location with Pacific-Ocean harbours and nearby mountains. Stanley Park is a large urban greenspace. I would consider it a great vacation destination, with both urban and rugged-nature features.

Disneyland, on the other hand, is a large amusement park. It contains lots of rides, attractions, and restaurants, all managed by the same company. It is located in Anaheim California, which is inland, not well served by public transit, and a significant car-travel distance from natural attractions.

If you live near Disneyland and would like to visit some place similar to Vancouver but cheaper to get to, you might enjoy San Francisco, coastal Oregon, or Seattle.

Answer #2:

I agree. Disneyland and Vancouver seem totally unrelated. Vancouver is an awesome city with beautiful landscape; a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and urban culture as well. Disneyland is a giant asphalt amusement parks, landlocked by the overcrowded, ever-sprawling development, typical of southern california. Don't get me wrong, I love Disney and is a neat place, but it's like comparing apples to oranges. Vancouver and Disneyland are simply incomparable

Answer #3:

I would choose vancouver in March so I can see 2 or 3 days of the winter Paralympic sports. Which I would enjoy watching as well as sight seeing

Answer #4:

Vancouver, in my opinion is the most beautiful city in North America. You can go to Whistler which is an hour and a half away and see how amazing that town is too. There is a lot to do and see in Vancouver. That being said, Disneyland is a lot of fun. I think it comes down to cost for one thing. You could easily spend hundreds of dollars a day in Disneyland on everything. Vancouver would be a bit better. Also if you are looking more for nature, Vancouver is the choice. The city is beautiful and right by the ocean. There is so many seafood restaurants right by the ocean, plus Stanley park is amazing. I guess I have a bit of a bias but Vancouver is the way to go.

Answer #5:

Answer #6:

Answer #7:

And if you've never been to Disneyland...well you should go at least once in your life it's a lot of fun!
Vancouver's nice to visit but as previously said, the two are completely unrelated.
