I personally have only heard of the Smart Home system; I don't know anyone who uses it currently. I assume you have done your research and checked out the options and price points available, but I would suggest you check out the home security units at ValueTechSupply.com I recently purchased a security unit from them for a apartment building I own and have been really pleased with the system and its performance as well as the price I paid for it. You may want to consider looking at their products to see all your options.
