I dont really think its wrong for you to think after being in a relationship with someone for over a year that you would expect them to want to try and make your life more comfortable but dont worry so much about exact dollar amounts, or what he does for his employees.. they may be really hard working people... i think its odd if he has so much money and youve been with him for so long that he doesnt have more concern with the lifes of your children.. it maybe kinda controlling.. i mean its like you can only do stuff you do with him.. you just need your own money and do your own thing then you can see if hes actually controoling cuz ofcourse hell be controlling over his own money.
