From what it sounds like sweetie, you made the same mistake I did once, where you didn't recognize the signs. He sounds like a great guy, it sounds like you really like him and everything, and after knowing you as long as he does and just now going after you, he must be a great guy.

The fact that he stood you up makes me think he has given up on you? Or is simply ashamed and has some other issues going on. The fact that you had that dream makes it sound like he is really important to you and you don't know. I personally would be freaking out if I had a dream like that and couldn't get a hold of him. I think you should decide what you are looking for with him and whether you want to take it seriously, as it seems he does. If not, he may be feeling like you are leading him on. Something you guys may have said while texting that night of the party may have caused him to decide to give up.

I would get a hold of him and make sure he is okay, and have a real talk about everything. I hate these types of experiences. good luck.
